The project is dedicated to eradicating violence against women and girls by fostering transformative individual behavior change and introducing alternative social norms. Through structured interventions and accountability mechanisms, the aim is to cultivate a community environment that upholds women’s leadership. Their focus extends to education and self-awareness programs for girls and women, imparting financial literacy to enhance their lives, recognizing their crucial role in society and their vulnerability. By empowering women and addressing the root causes of violence, the project envisions creating lasting change. Having successfully implemented similar initiatives with 20 women and girls through three training sessions, the project continues to educate and empower, addressing sexual rights and challenges. In particular, the initiative targets the Somali community, bridging the gap by providing guidance to those unaware of available support avenues.
