Recognizing the critical need for digital skills in the Kakuma Refugee Camp, they embark on a project to overcome the employment and economic hurdles faced by refugees. Their goal is to empower 100 young refugees in the camp with digital skills, with a specific focus on web development. The comprehensive training program spans essential aspects of web development, covering everything from website design to maintenance. Going beyond technical skills, the program also provides guidance on monetizing these newfound abilities. Students will be introduced to various online platforms where they can market themselves and their skills. By adopting this multifaceted approach, the project aims to not only equip refugees with in-demand skills but also create avenues for them to access job opportunities within their community and beyond.
