JTS/ JTS KYAKA REFUGEES

• Location: Uganda kyegegwa, KYAKA 2 REFUGEES SETTLEMENT

Dedicated to fostering unity and promoting gender diversity, they initiate this project within the Kyaka 2 community. The primary focus is on empowering women and youth through engaging activities such as dance reach-outs and dance battles. By infusing creativity and skill development, particularly among young dancers, both boys and girls, the project aims to not only create a vibrant cultural exchange but also establish avenues for economic self-sustainability. The culmination of these efforts includes final awards that not only recognize talent but also serve as a stepping stone for the youth to establish something meaningful for themselves and their community.
