The Global Refugee Youth Network has emerged as a crucial ally for Women and Children at Risk (WCR). In the past year, they successfully executed the “Tunaweza Badilisha Maisha” project, focusing on rabbit rearing. Initially reaching 40 identified young individuals, the project provided each participant with two rabbits, cages, and necessary equipment. Impressively, the initiative has expanded its reach, now benefiting 66 people. The Tunaweza Badilisha Project aims to foster self-reliance and alleviate school costs for the participants. Building on this success, the organization launched the “Epic Change” project this year, involving the construction of two English classes capable of accommodating 50 students each, totaling 150 students annually. Epic Change seeks to overcome language barriers and actively promote community integration, reflecting the organization’s commitment to empowering and transforming the lives of the individuals it serves.
